I don't know why you're here but I don't believe in coincidences. 

Maybe we know each other, maybe we don't. 

Either way, I hope you find encouragement in my posts. 

This blog is not about my life's story up to this point and it's not about my current woes. 

No - this blog is about what I am learning through reading the Holy Bible .

You won't find practical advice in this blog. 

Instead, you'll find reflections from my daily devotions and what the Lord is teaching me. 

Our situations may be different but I believe we all experience many of the same feelings throughout this life.

THE DISHES CAN WAIT: A QUEST FOR CLARITY

                    For so many years I didn’t read the Bible every day. It’s embarrassing to even admit it, but it’s true. I don’t even know why I stopped reading it every day. I just let things get in the way and I started making excuses. Excuses like these… I don’t need to read the Bible today. It’s kind of hard to understand. It takes a lot of time. Where do I even start? I can’t focus. There are too many things to do. I'll read tomorrow. What a dangerous game I played with myself, and what a grievous thing for my Savior.
